Stevi Bratschie 2022 Participant Clinical Coordinator
Born and raised in Michigan, Stevi grew up playing sports and exploring the outdoors. She moved to Colorado for her undergraduate studies and fell in love with the mountains and its access to skiing, biking, hiking, and trail running. In 2010, Stevi moved to Washington, DC to earn her Master’s of Public Health. Since graduating, she has worked for non-profit and health care organizations to improve access to care for women, children, and underserved populations, to increase access to mental health services, and to improve the quality of care for all community members. She has worked as a mentor and researcher for youth mentoring programs that combine adult mentorship with running and fitness. Stevi has seen how the combination of mentorship and the outdoors provides the support and community individuals need to build resiliency, community, and a strong sense of self.
I have found that mountain biking brings me a sense of calm, humility, and strength that no other sport has offered. It is on my bike where I can truly be myself, build community, and find my inner peace. When I first learned about Sacred Cycle I knew I had to join this mission driven organization and be a part of a community focused on healing, resiliency, and female empowerment. Sacred Cycle provides a truly unique program to begin or continue on the path of healing and self-transformation. I can’t wait to ride alongside and learn from so many amazing people!
In her free time, Stevi enjoys biking, running, skiing, traveling and spending time with her husband Troy, two sons, Max and Theo, and dog, Luna. She lives in Eagle, CO where she plans to stay for a very long time.
