13 Jan Postponed – Defining Success: A Free Speaker Event About Overcoming Obstacles
Postponed – April 8, 2020 5:30 – 8:00pm | Defining Success: A free speaker event hosted by Sacred Cycle
UPDATE 3/13/20: Given the concerns about crowding and large gatherings due to the growing threat of coronavirus COVID-19, we have unfortunately decided to cancel our April 8 “Defining Success” event. We are looking at alternative dates and programming options.
How do we define success? Join the Sacred Cycle for an evening in Vail, Colorado with survivor and keynote speaker Trish Kendall. She will share her story about the obstacles she overcame to achieve what she has today as a top executive and keynote speaker. During her presentation, Trish will discuss how she climbed from the pit of despair to the peak of success. Along her journey, she will discuss many successes she has achieved as well as the lessons she’s learned along the way. But her ultimate success is to have embraced her boundless capacity to love and to be loved. Her single-most important lesson in this journey of life is that love is your choice.
Currently, Trish is an Executive Vice President at Jenny Craig, leading the strategy, sales and commercialization of Jenny Craig’s new business initiatives. As a survivor and keynote speaker, she inspires others to achieve their own version of success.
In addition, there will be an expert panel discussion following the keynote presentation. Regional industry leaders of youth empowerment, mental health, suicide, addiction and outdoor recreation will be present to discuss how to support a survivor, how to watch for signs, demystify myths and build awareness in the Vail Valley.
- Chris Lindley, Executive Director of Eagle Valley Behavioral Health
- Jenny Stith, Executive Director of Wings Foundation
- Brett Donelson ED of The Cycle Effect
- Molly Fiore, Program Director of Speak Up Reach Out

Join us for an inspiring evening that brings light to difficult situations and a discussion on how we can nurture and support our community. Additionally, the free speaker event will also include light appetizers and beverages.
